SUMMARY:March 2022 Monthly Meeting at the Inn of the Seventh Ray Restaurant
DESCRIPTION:Monthly Meetings in Topanga Open to All\nOur general meetings are held on the second Monday of every month at 7 pm at The Inn of the Seventh Ray restaurant\, 128 Old Topanga Canyon Road\, Topanga CA 90290. Valet parking or park on nearby streets. Refreshments provided. For meeting information\, call 310-455-9389\, or subscribe to our mailing list. The focus of our March 14\, 2022 meeting will be on Legal Strategies to halt the 5G roll-out in Los Angeles County.  Julian Gresser Esq and Robert J Berg Esq will be our presenters. We would love for you to attend in person if you are able\, and we are also providing a Zoom link to the meeting for those who cannot attend. He was twice Mitsubishi Visiting Professor at the Harvard Law School\, a Visiting Professor in MIT’s Program on Science\, Technology\, and Society Program\, and an advisor to environmental organizations\, international organizations\, corporations\, and governments. He is also an inventor\, professional negotiator\, alliance mediator\, and recognized expert on Japan. Mr. Gresser is co-founder of the Broadband International Legal Action Network (www.bbilan.org) and The Balance Group (www.thebalancegroup.net) which has mobilized a team of veteran attorneys and other professionals engaged in landmark legal cases that will determine whether there will be any reasonable legal controls on corporate exploitation of the Heavens\, the proliferation of RF/EMF radiation emitting devices in residential communities and vulnerable environmental areas\, and conversion of personal information for private economic advantage\, control\, and surveillance. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nShort Bio for Robert J Berg\, Featured Speaker at our March 14 Meeting\n\n\n\nRobert J. Berg\, of the Law Office of Robert J. Berg\, is an experienced litigator\, who has\, for the past 38 years\, specialized in complex class action litigation in the federal and state courts nationwide.  Mr. Berg has been a lead or co-lead counsel for plaintiffs in numerous securities fraud and consumer fraud class actions\, and he has achieved hundreds of millions of dollars in recoveries for class members.  Mr. Berg graduated from Amherst College\, with a B.A. degree cum laude.  He received his J.D. degree from the University of Chicago Law School and his M.B.A. degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. In recent years\, Mr. Berg has developed a specialty in advising individuals and organizations regarding the deployment of wireless telecommunications facilities in their communities. Mr. Berg represents parties before local\, city\, and county land use boards challenging the siting of proposed cell towers and small cell facilities\, and prosecutes lawsuits against such bodies and the telecommunications companies when necessary. \n  \n  \n  \n\n
